4 Ways to Fill Your Empty Cup to Overflowing: Let me show you how to truly unplug and fill your sacred cup to overflowing, so that you can hold space for the people you care about, and even for the healing of the planet and humanity, without losing yourself or your energy.

How to Feel More Balanced as an Energy Sensitive Soul

Mental Health | 0 comments

Like I’ve been saying and singing about on stage for years, this era is all about being who you are. Or more precisely… stepping into being who you are.

Are you stepping into who you TRULY are? Or are you still playing around with the idea and letting fear push you into the back seat?

Right now we are entering a whole new era. We are in the wake of a lot of global confusion, panic, and letting go of what doesn’t serve our planet. This is HUGE!

On top of all of this we have been gifted a chance to utilize this newfound space to truly think about our values and priorities in life.

Are you where you want to be right now?
Are you feeling like you are being your TRUE self?
Are you relaxing to sleep every night and waking up feeling fulfilled and happy?
Are you working your dream job and full of financial freedom?
Are you using ALL your gifts and creativity?

Or are you still trying to find the answers to all of the questions above?

You’re here to EXPRESS yourself, your gifts, your power and your song!

You were put here with a powerful purpose you are meant to fulfill.

So many gifted healers, intuitives, empaths, spiritual mentors and life coaches are stuck in fear, frustration and overwhelm about stepping fully into being who they are.

So if this is you, you’re not alone.

The problem is, being energy sensitive can put us into overwhelm far more easily, quickly and more than the average person. And overwhelm can put you into that nasty downward spiral we’re all familiar with.

For energy sensitive souls, overwhelm is one of the biggest causes of self-sabotage. This is why in my work, I help my clients to stay really grounded, and I help them to increase their confidence, sacred boundaries and energetic stability.

DITCH THE OVERWHELM WHILE BEING THE EYE OF A STORM:

If you’re still not investing time in yourself and instead are focusing on everyone around you, you’re probably so overwhelmed from all the extra energy that you are starting to feel burnt out. There is so much going on in the world between the global pandemic, fighting for rights and trying to balance our own lives that it literally feels like we are sitting in the eye of a storm with nowhere to go. What if you can BE the eye of the storm?

The first thing you need to do is set boundaries. These don’t have to be with other people. You can set them just for yourself. A great one to start with is setting aside some time each day that you know is just for you. Getting up a half hour earlier than you normally do so your loved ones don’t even know you are awake is the perfect strategy to add in some You time. Use this time to stretch, journal, meditate, connect with Nature or even dive into some healing music.

The key with setting boundaries is to never let anything get in the way. Even if it means you have to wake up even earlier, lock yourself in the bathroom or do it at a different time during the day – JUST DO IT.

By allowing yourself the time and space just for You each day, you will decrease the amount of overwhelm you are feeling because you know that time is always for you and you only.

SELF-CARE CONFUSION:

The Internet has made self-care a trendy term that seems to have lost its initial value. If you do some quick research on self-care you will see that taking a bath, reading a book, treating yourself to a manicure or pedicure or going to the spa is what self-care is all about.

You’ve probably felt the overwhelm taking over and dove right into a few of these things to help relieve that feeling if you’re able to where you live. You might be wishing you could go back to pre-pandemic days where you could just easily go get your nails done any time. I can almost guarantee that after the initial adrenaline of “Wow, I’m actually doing something for me” wore off that the overwhelm came rushing back.

Here’s the thing – self-care is not all about material things. It’s about what’s going on inside your mind, body and soul.

True self-care is creating space for you to slow down and receive messages from the Divine. It can be 5 minutes a day or 2 hours a day. Whatever the amount of time is, you need to take it. You need to create yourself that space where your body can relax, your mind can let go of thoughts and your soul can open up to receive.

By giving yourself this time to let go, let flow and receive, you will give the overwhelm a chance to leave your body freely and create less space for it to return. You will get down to the root of the overwhelm and feel that weight lifted off your shoulders as you begin to think more clearly.

Now you can take aligned action.
Now you can be your TRUE self.

You’ve probably tried what I just mentioned and are wondering why it’s not working. I get it. We’re in a pandemic. Things are crazy and it’s hard to wind down – which is why it’s that much more important to take that time.

Sometimes we all just need a little help, which is 100% normal when it comes to energy sensitive souls. You just need someone else to hold space for you to relax, receive, flow and release, and connect more deeply with that beautiful being you truly are.

To make the huge impact you’re here to make, you deserve to be supported in growing and maintaining alignment with your purpose as you delve into filling your own cup, before you start filling others.
