A while ago, one of my clients was struggling – and while we all have our uniqueness, this was a struggle I hear a lot. I came up with an acronym based on the simplest and most useful advice I give my clients all the time: Just B.R.E.A.T.H.E.

Be radiant expression aspiring to the highest expression.

You know that feeling when you’ve just made an incredible decision that has the power to move you right toward exactly what you want? You know… when you’ve got excitement, nervousness, fear and anxiety all tightly wrapped up in a little ball in your stomach that wants to just explode??

That’s when you need to just B.R.E.A.T.H.E.

Making Powerful Decisions

I’ve been there many times on different levels – even just recently. And right now! I’m in the midst of making some powerful decisions and transformations within my business. And it’s pretty amazing but it also brings up fear. The fear doesn’t even have anything to do with the changes! It comes from years ago, and often even lifetimes ago – we store so much in our bodies and our energy fields that we are just not aware of.

This fear… and this powerful decision… It is a powerful place to be. And. We can really kind of – forgive my language here but – screw ourselves over, if we let these feelings take control. I’ve done that too, and it is NOT FUN. In fact, it’s draining and really frustrating! It can create that downward spiral that we’re all familiar with.

So. Here is what you do when you’re about to make a powerful decision, or if you just did, and resistance is bubbling up. Remember, that resistance is just trying to get you to crawl back into your “discomfort zone” with your tail between your legs. It does NOT have to be that way. Here’s how you can change all that.

Breathe into Your Belly

Breathe into your belly, and on the exhale, let yourself release the tension. Drop your shoulders, loosen your chest muscles, breathe in again, and sigh it out. Now get up! Out of your seat. And physically MOVE FORWARD out of the space you’re in. Stretch your arms up and out, reach your open heart toward the sky, and ask your support team from the higher realms to uplift you.

You might want to smudge or burn incense, or even just move some things around in your space… Do something to shift the energy in your house or working space.

Resistance and Momentum

Remember, every time we make powerful decisions, the subconscious will come up with all kinds of big ideas to throw you off track. Don’t let it get any more momentum and go from emotional havoc into creating physical circumstances. Head it off at the pass by giving yourself positive messages. Surround yourself with support. And breathe into your belly.

Celebrate Your Successes

Make sure you really let yourself celebrate ALL of your successes, no matter how big or small. In fact, soak yourself emotionally in those successes. Remember too, don’t compare your successes with that of others. Get really clear on what success means to you and feels like in your body.

What are ALL the big and small things you did for your pleasure and expansion today and over the past week? That’s the kind of celebration I’m talking about.

Say them out loud and literally tell your inner-freaking-out-critic that actually, she needs to give it a rest, because you are doing such great things!

Remember…

Just B.R.E.A.T.H.E.
