It is time – right now – for women to come forward, gather our strength and heal ourselves and each other.
Our voices – the truth of who we are as individuals and as a collective force – are very much needed during this massive transformation here on Mother Earth.
It is time to allow our gifts to emerge.
It is time to speak our truth.
It is time to be who we are.
And it is time to bring back balance to our lives and our planet.
And I’m not just talking about women any more…
I’m the first one to acknowledge that it can be scary to drop the various facades we wear and I still don’t always do this 24/7. But I strive to be fully who I am all the time. And you can too. We all can.
I take notice of everything that comes into my life – not to be all serious but rather to really soak it up, really enjoy and be present for what comes into my life. And hey, if what’s happening doesn’t feel too joyful, I still don’t feel anywhere near as stressed out as I would if I weren’t present in the moment.
Little by little, being who you truly are gets easier and easier and pretty soon you’ll notice more joy creeping into your life, more laughter, passion and anticipation. And while you’re in moments of being who you are without wearing a mask, you’ll begin to notice how good your authenticity and presence in the moment make you feel.
Whether you’re enjoying the first day of Spring or Fall, please give yourself permission – for at least 5 minutes today – to celebrate your Self – let down your guard and be as fully YOU as you know how.
If you could do one little thing today to step more fully into your true Self, what would it be? Loosen your tie at lunchtime? Draw a picture? I encourage you to do that one little thing. I bet you will feel exhilarated, energized and more joyful for it.
Love & Blessings,
Brenda MacIntyre, Medicine Song Woman
