Spiritual Medicine for Chaotic Times

I couldn’t think of what to write today so I did a Medicine Song Oracle Reading, asking the oracle deck what you needed to hear from me. Turns out, it’s an oracle reading. My Medicine Song Oracle Deck is based on 13 of my medicine songs and the 4 directions of the Medicine Wheel. I’ve left you the Spotify link for the song that goes with each card.

Your 1st Oracle Card: One of the Things, South.

Play the song on Spotify for the full effect.

Stand up. Never give up. Don’t lose hope.

Yes. I love that this oracle card showed up.

Stand up. Literally stand up sometimes if you’re sitting a lot. When you have your hands full with creating new routines based on public health measures, working at home or homeschooling your kids, it’s easy to forget. I know I do. But also, like my single Together We Can Stand Up, we really can stand together for positive change, and stand up for ourselves and each other.

Never give up. I won’t say never give up on something that you’ve been banging your head against the wall about. Some things we really do need to give up, like bad habits or things that are just not meant to be. But please never give up on YOU. You are here at such a momentous time, so it’s just not possible that you don’t have a purpose here. You are meant to be here right now, and we have a reminder of that with our 2nd oracle card in this oracle reading.

Don’t lose hope. We all have had days of wanting to give up or feeling hopeless. I’m not saying that’s a bad thing. We have to be honest with ourselves and be present with whatever is coming up for us. But what are you doing to swing back to having hope again? What are some of the ways you are infusing hope into your life and the lives of others? I’d love to hear about it in the comments, where you can SHINE (card #3) your hope for others to see and feel.

This oracle card being in the South means that we are in the creative fire, that passion is what will help us keep going and that the Sacred Feminine fire is burning bright, so add your flames to it.

Your 2nd Oracle Card: Be Here Now, West.

Play the song on Spotify for the full effect.

Look at the image on this oracle card and breathe. Let your own message come through or if that feels difficult, just notice what stands out to you about this oracle card and go inward to check in with yourself about why that stands out to you.

West oracle cards in this oracle deck are all about self-trust, water, emotion, dreaming and your big dream, so let yourself feel and be present in your body for whatever feelings show up. It’s a visualization card with no words, so that you can sink deeper into trusting your own inner wisdom.

Gaze at the card to see what shows up for you. Here’s what’s coming through me to share:

For most of us, our ego-mind is on overdrive trying to keep us safe while we float across an ever-shifting fast-flowing river on a raft that could fall apart any moment. That’s what living through this time is like. When ego-mind is presented with constant danger, we get thrown into default thinking and action, rather than letting our heart, spirit and intuition guide us. You’re probably wavering between these states of being and each of our experiences is unique.

Step back from default thinking and action by being present in the moment and consciously choosing your thoughts, beliefs and actions. Be Here Now.

You get to have the security blanket if you want, but you also get to peak out of it and create connections and pathways to what you desire.

Your 3rd Oracle Card: Shine in the South.

Play the song on Spotify for the full effect.

You are a unique expression of Source energy and it is your birthright to be who you came here to be.

Let yourself shine. Let the sun shine on you (without sunburn of course). Whether you see yourself in the darkness of the hills with the sun far far away or you see yourself as literally being the light of the sun, you are whole. You are worthy. You are complete. You are here during this time to shine your light, not to hold it back. How are you holding back? I know you’re feeling the urge to shine brightly. Globally, we are having a reawakening. We are being compelled to be more of who we are.

Of course we would get the South Shine card because as mentioned above, we are feeding the Sacred Feminine fire every time we shine. Bring out your passion and you will shine. Let your creativity flow and you will shine.

Shine like the sun. It’s what you’re here to do, and when you shine, you invite others to shine their light as well.

I hope this oracle reading helps guide you through whatever month you’re reading this in. If you’d like a personalized Medicine Song Oracle Reading, get in touch with me.

Love & Blessings,

Brenda MacIntyre, Medicine Song Woman
