Sacred Creation in Business: Visioning Your Way to Success

Leadership | 0 comments

This is your 5th of 13 weekly channelled readings from my Medicine Song Oracle Cards™, along with the audio clip of the medicine song that matches the card.

The cards and the songs from my Medicine Song CD interact with each other to amplify the energy and experience for you. The cards are based on the Ojibwe medicine wheel the way I was taught by indigenous traditional teachers, and my own Medicine Wheel of Success system, as well as the 13 Grandmother Moons of the lunar cycle and the 28 days of each Moon cycle.

Your 5th reading is based on the song “Visioning”. Click on the audio player at the top of this week’s blog to hear the clip and meditate to the healing art while you read the message for the week.

This Inspirational Message Card is from the South direction of the medicine wheel, representing creativity, fire, passion, birthing and the sacred feminine.

If you’re reading this, you may need to take some time by yourself to do what the card says: See. Imagine. Feel. Create. Sometimes the noise of everyone else’s opinions, our inboxes, the phone and even simple distractions can take away from our focus.

Tap into the sacred fire within you and ask yourself: What wants to be created and expressed through my business right now?

What’s really cool here is that you’re working with the energies of the West as well as the South because of what this card is all about: Visioning.

The sweat lodge in the image is off in the distance in front of you, calling you in. You stand in the grass, just about ready to step into the sand. Imagine you are there. You walk toward the sweat lodge and when you get in, grandmothers are there to serve you and take care of you.

Time bends inside a sweat lodge, as well as when we are creating something. You may feel as if 5 hours have passed when in fact it’s only been an hour. Or vice versa. All that matters is that you give yourself a few hours.

Reality Check:

Yes, chances are that most of you don’t have immediate access to a sweat lodge. You don’t need that to do this activity. Send the spiritual part of you into the lodge in the image and the physical part of you can have some fun wherever you happen to be.

Materials You’ll Want To Have:

Everyone’s creative and visioning processes are different. You might want to have some or all of these in your space before you start your visioning process:

  • Markers
  • Pencils
  • Pens
  • Paint and Paintbrushes
  • Magazines to make a collage
  • Paper in whatever colours you want
  • Glue
  • Your phone or tablet or something else to capture to audio and/or video
  • Sacred Items to help you create sacred space
  • A totally comfortable place for you to sit or stand or both
  • IMPORTANT: Something to cleanse your space – sage, smudge spray, essential oils, whatever works for you

Now, you know what?

Please have these items accessible to you all the time, okay? Creating sacred space is important. Also, having your own way of doing things is important. Some sort of ritual or ceremony. Doesn’t have to be a certain “right way” you’ve been told. It needs to feel good and right to you.

Now go and free up some space in your calendar and book yourself a few hours to vision and create. And all you need to ask of yourself and your Higher Realms Support Team is: What wants to be created and expressed through my business right now?

Write it, draw it, collage it, record it, film it, whatever you need to do. Sometimes I have a bath and bring my recorder along, and I just start “stream of consciousness talking”. Or I’ll do that with my computer keyboard.

Note that this is the 2nd step.  You already took the first step: You planted a seed – an idea or simply a desire – and it took root. Now, you are opening up space for that seed to grow and burst through the earth so you can see and feel it.

Visioning is usually done when you have travelled the medicine wheel from East to South to West. In this case, you are here in the South and on your way to the West, which means more visioning is yet to come before that seed will get to the point of bursting through the earth.

You are still drawing in the soul of the “baby” and it is also nesting time.

After this extra time of visioning and creating, you will be in the North where more physical activity is required, and the manifestation starts to happen. So rest now and put your energies into spirit-led creation. Not creating from your head, but allowing the creation to unfold.

Be patient with yourself and with your little seed that you have planted. Feed it, nurture it, love it and allow it to have the time it needs to grow. Treat yourself with the same kindness and patience.

Now, once you’ve given yourself this time to vision and create – it’s only a few hours – get back into action with the other pieces of your business that are calling your attention. Visioning is not an excuse to stop. It is a reason to maintain the momentum and trust yourself and your guides.

I also want to say, having gone on a vision quest years ago, you never know what your vision will be or what come out of it. My main vision wasn’t even about me. It was a message I had to share with a loved one. So you might not get what you think but it will be perfect for you.

By the way, play the song Visioning to help this become more powerful. I used that song to manifest the money to create a CD, as well as to manifest my first big speaking tour.

Please share on the blog about what this reading means for you and your business.

Love & Blessings,

Brenda MacIntyre, Medicine Song Woman
