Did you ever watch that movie, “The Never-Ending Story?” If you haven’t, it’s a treat for the imagination within us all. But more than that, it teaches you how to create your future! It’s about a boy who is reading a story, and he becomes part of the story, so much that he has to use his imagination to rebuild the world in the story, which is being destroyed.
And therein lies the key. If we use our imagination to create our own new and empowering story of a life we want to be living, or our big business vision, and if we believe it’s possible to make that story become truth… then it can happen. Especially if we really dive into our imagination – like you used to when you were a child.
This is something I’ve also learned from the Abraham-Hicks law of attraction teachings. The way Abraham see things, you don’t have to “face reality” – you get to create it. At first, I had a hard time with that, feeling like I’d be lying. But it’s not like that.
You don’t need to tell your boss today that you quit just because you have a fantasy of being a millionaire. But you can play make believe or write a story about it, and create your own cool version of your future NOW.
We are telling ourselves stories all day long! Most of them aren’t very nice. “I can’t do that”. “I’ll never have what she has.” “As if I could ever make lots of money doing what I love.” “That’s just for other people – not for me.” Any of those sound familiar?
If you’re saying to yourself, “Yeah but I’ve used the law of attraction and it doesn’t work!”… here are 2 little secrets about “the secret.”
1. It won’t work unless you truly BELIEVE you DESERVE to have what you want.
2. You need to feel good MORE than you feel bad – specifically about what you desire – to make it work.
So what’s your new story? Think of it this way. What story would you LOVE to be telling 5 years from now about your business and your life?
Start telling it now and not just telling it but FEELING it and BELIEVING that it’s possible… and the Universe will begin to bring you opportunities, people, circumstances to fulfill your desire.
